Love from Above: Student Mission Project
Ongoing Throughout Lent
Love From Above is a student Lenten project that was concieved from a semster long Bible study. Students realized that they wanted to have an impact on the community around them and remind them that even during their hardest time that someone still cares for them.
The students have decided to do a donation drive to assemble 2000 activity bags that will be distributed to local childrens hospitals to be given to patients upon arrival. Included in the bags will be
* Activity book or Coloring Book
* Small stuffed animal (beanie baby size)
* Crayons or colored pencils
These items will be collected in the gathering area on Sunday mornings and then assembled into bags with a small note from the student group. For more information, or to drop of midweek donations please contact Grant Wilson at gwilson@firstmethodistplano.org
