Ways to Give

There are, of course, many ways to give through your prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness. The focus here is on financial gifts.

Special Note: FirstChurch promotes responsible use of debt. Credit card payments are offered for convenience only and it is the position of FirstChurch that you should not incur debt in order to make your gift.

Deuteronomy 8:18 "Remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth."

 

Your Pledge Giving and Tithing

You made a promise to the church to uphold it with your prayers, presence, service, gifts and witness.  How is the "gifts" part of that going for you? Sometimes it's difficult to keep up with  pledge giving. If you miss a Sunday here and there, it can really affect your giving or tithe and consequently have an impact on FirstChurch's ability to meet its obligations.

To make the financial portion of gifts in this promise easier, FirstChurch provides a way for you to set up regular, online giving. To do so, click on monthly gifts and follw the instructions to arrange to give automatically on a monthly basis using your credit or debit card. 

 

A Single Gift or Tithe

Did God give you some unexpected income and you want to tithe 10% of it ot the church? Want to show your appreciation for all the church does over and beyond your pledge giving? Need those last few miles on your credit card to qualify for that airline ticket? Is your hear and God telling you it is time to give a little extra?

Church Needs:

There is now a place on the church website that will be updated periodically with church needs. Feel free to visit this place as often as you wish. When you feel compelled, enter your one-time gift to the church. You can spread your gift among different needs or give to just one particular need that touches your heart. Just click here and fill in the amount(s) where you feel moved to do so. Are you so very close to a 10% tithe? This is a great place to gift this amount and bring your giving to a full tithe. Did you miss church a Sunday or two and need to catch up on your pledge? You can do that right here as well!

 

Memorials and Tributes

Do you want to make a memorial or a tribute gift in honor of a loved one or someone special? What a wonderful way to show your love for someone and bless the chruch with their memory. What a blessed way to acknowledge someone's accomplihsments or simlply show them their importance in your life. The church has many ways to acknowledge someone from very private to very public.

Please e-mail and let her know the person's name and how you would like to honor them. If you would rather set up a dedicated account for your gift, you can still e-mail and let her know how you would like to allocate your gift.

You are in complete control of how this very special gift will be used to spread God's word. FirstChurch would be blessed and honored to make this happen.
