The psalmist declared that your word, Lord, is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (105). As I prepare to read and reflect on your word, open my eyes to the light you would shed on my path today and in the future. Let me carry your word with me throughout this day. Remind me of its truths in every interaction and expectation. Above all else, let me reflect your gracious love always, as you did. I pray in the power of your Spirit. Amen.
