Good News

Change is hard, Lord, even when it's a good thing. We know not to live too attached to this world but gracious, that's not easy! New owners bring new ways of doing things for those who remain; others find themselves in the job market again. New opportunities take us to new places, and we leave friends and family. Children go away to college, move out of parents' homes or move back in. Aging and illness change the landscape of our lives. Change is inevitable but you, O Lord, remain constant. You never change. Your love is eternal and remains the most powerful force in the world. Carry us through the rough patches and help us see the light ahead, and experience your light within. I pray in your name. Amen.
