Good News

It's another day. A Monday. A holiday for many, but not for all. The 'beginning' of summer. A lazy day around the pool. A day of 'to dos' around the house. A family cookout in the backyard. Good friends. Family.

But it's also a truly significant day. That's because it's Memorial Day - a day of remembrance for all and sadness for many as we honor those who have given a season of their lives to protect us, keep us safe and enable us to live the life we so often take for granted.

So take a few moments today to remember, give thanks and reflect on how their sacrifice enables you to live. And when you are done, give thanks to God for them.
