Holy Week

Holy Thursday

April 1, 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. The Chancel Choir and First Church Orchestra share the music of The Living Last Supper as thirteen First Church men portray Jesus and his Disciples. Holy Communion will be served.

Good Friday

April 2, 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. An evening of darkness and introspection is how to describe our Good Friday worship-How Great Thou Art. The entire experience of those final days and hours are brought to life as the feelings of Jesus, Judas, Pilate, and Mary are shared along with soul-stirring music based on the well-loved hymn that is the title of the work. We will leave in darkness as we symbolically wait for the Easter Resurrection.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Saturday, April 3, FROM 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Bring a picnic basket and blanket for an afternoon of bounce houses, family games, live entertainment, a visit from the Easter Bunny and an Easter Egg Hunt! In the event of rain, the festivities will be held indoors.

Community Easter Sunrise Service

First Church’s Hispanic Ministry and United Methodist Men will provide and serve a Continental breakfast in the church Gathering Area after the Sunrise Service. In the event of rain, the service will be held in the church Sanctuary.
