FaithWalk

Learning More, Listening More, Serving More

FaithWalk is First Church's program designed to give adults a method of being intentional about growing in Christian knowledge, Christian spirituality, and Christian service.

We have experiences for you in FaithWalk regardless of how long you've been a Chrsitian or what you know about the faith.

  1. "Basic" studies designed for adults who are unfamiliar with the basics of the faith;
  2. "Going deeper" experiences intended for persons who've had a basic exposure to the life of faith and would like to get more involved with their heads, hands, and hearts.
  3. High-level involvement, for Christians who have a good grasp of the basics and want to deepen and expand their walk of faith; and
  4. Leadership development opportunities, for Christians who have a thorough grounding in the faith and want to develop leadership abilities for use in the church.

For a schedule of studies and spiritual growth opportunities available at First Church January-May 2008, pick up a FaithWalk booklet on Sunday morning at the Adult Ministries table in the gathering area or check the Upcoming Adult Studies web page.

Registration for winter studies has begun.  The winter set of course offerings begins Wednesday evening, January 9 with a study on teaching children effective and faith-based money-management skills; new studies on a variety of topics begin in different weeks throughout the winter and spring of 2008.
