This years Amigos Days work dates are: Friday April 18, Saturday April 19, Friday April 25, Saturday April 26 and in the event of rainout: Friday May 2, Saturday May 3.

We are expanding our horizons again this year by partnering with several churches to focus on the Jubilee Park neighborhood in downtown Dallas. Our church along with Custer Road, FUMC Allen, and Munger Parish will work on a total of 7 homes in the same general vicinity. We will specifically focus on two 

    4611 Philip Ave - needs siding repair, handrail, paint - owner Ms. Idell Camp
    4822 Gurley Ave - needs porch floor replaced - owner Ms. Isabel Rodriguez

as well as providing guidance and additional assistance to FUMC Allen and Munger Parish as needed on two other homes.

As usual there may also be tree trimming, general yard cleanup, and we may also consider some extras such as landscaping if time/funds/availability permit.
 
Jubilee Park is a relatively poor area of Dallas that is undergoing renovation under the care of a dedicated group with aFrank-the-cook.gif long term vision for improving housing, education, and the general quality of life for the area. For more information please visit the Jubilee Park web site.
