The Music Ministry at First United Methodist Church Plano uses music to generate excitement, beauty and inspiration in our services of worship. The choral and instrumental programs are intended to nurture those involved and to give a means of contributing in worship, outreach and praise as well as an opportunity for personal growth and enjoyment. Our Music Ministry family welcomes anyone who would like to join us in this most rewarding endeavor. Whether you are a professional musician, or someone who wishes to join a musical group for the first time, we have a place for you. We offer a variety of ensembles and musical styles for any musical taste and experience level. Anyone wishing to receive more information about participating in our Music Ministry, please contact the Director of Music and Worship, Nathan Frank.

If you would like to participate in the orchestra or have any further questions, please contact Blake Edmondson, Director of Instrumental Music.
FirstChurch enjoys a large group of talented instrumentalists in our Music Ministry. Because of this blessing, we have a variety of small instrumental ensembles (brass/percussion, woodwinds and strings) who perform music in worship regularly. Rehearsals for these groups are called on an "as-needed" basis. If you would like to participate or have questions about any of our ensembles, contact Blake Edmondson, Director of Instrumental Music.
