Nursery

FirstChurch strives to provide an environment

where children experience God's love though the love of other people.

When is the Nursery Available?

Nursery care is available for children age four and younger during all services of worship. Throughout the week, care is also provided for infants-5th grade for other church functions. Rooms will vary depending on ages and number of children.

Reservations

Reservations for childcare must be made at least 24 hours in advance by e-mailing Ruth Bearden (rbearden@firstmethodistplano.org). Please specify the event, time, date, location, number of children, ages and any special requirements. If no reservations are made for a function or event, childcare will not be available.

Safety

FirstChurch nursery services focus on health and safety. A pager system is available for parents of children 23 months and younger. Number tags are also used for children two through four years of age. Only the person with the corresponding tag or pager is allowed to pick up a child from the nursery. Appropriate child-to-teacher ratios are also kept in accordance with state regulations. Careful hygiene procedures are employed to keep rooms and toys clean and safe.

As always, the main concern of FirstChurch nursery services is the comfort, safety, and care of your child. Should you have any concerns, please contact Ruth Bearden.
