Haiti Disaster Relief. Along with your prayers to those affected by the January 12  earthquake in Haiti, you may give your financial support through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) which responds immediately during tragic situations such as this. You may make a check out to FUMC Plano and put "Haiti Earthquake" in the memo line. UMCOR has also sent out an Urgent Request for Medical Volunteers as well as a request for Health Kit donations. Early Response Team Training. Christ United Methodist Church will be offering UMCOR Early Response Team training. This church has one of the oldest and most experienced disaster response teams in the North Texas Conference. The team provides immediate assistance to people whose homes have been devastated by a natural disaster. Their prime responsibility is to make things safe, sanitary and secure for homeowners who may not have the support system to help them. Visit the Missions Page for more information.

City of Plano Electronic Recycling Program Bring your electronics recycling to First Church Plano, the first Saturday of each month 9am-12pm (beginning October 3, 2009).
